Brain Awareness week.

A week to showcase the research and progress that has been carried out on the old grey matter.

Brain waves, hypnosis and counting sheep are just a few of the things that are going on.

It’s on this week.

You’re pretty clued up, so I imagine you already knew that ;)

Here’s a little nugget of wisdom for you…

Did you know that exercise is actually better for boosting your memory than doing mental puzzles, such as sudoku?

Yep, it’s true and I’ve been telling my mother-in-law this for donkeys.

She loves a sudoku, but getting her to do some of my Walshy specials has proven difficult.

You see, getting a bit sweaty increases the oxygen to your noggin, which reduces the risk of you losing your marbles later down the line.

I don’t know about you, but I plan on having all my marbles, so you can bet your assimus that I’ll be sweating my, err…assimus off for many years to come.

Just 20 minutes of moderate exercise is enough to boost your mental mojo.

On the other hand, if you’d like to fire up your noddle AND lose some lard at the same time, I’ve got just the ticket.
