I was with one of my clients the other day and I threw her a curveball at the end of our training session.
Just before we’d finished I said…
“Okay, I want you to come up with a cheeky finisher…”
And do you know what she came up with?!
An old school classic called the “Tabata”.
If you’re not familiar with Tabata training, it’s a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) method, featuring exercises that last for four minutes.
The workout timing has changed over the years, but the old school classic is 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest repeat for a total of 4 minutes. And…
My client just so happened to choose the old fave of tabata squats.

Okay, so now you’ve probably got jelly legs and are cursing my name – LOL :)
