If you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know I love to bang on about eating clean and living the healthy lifestyle.
I know I say this over, and over, and over again.
But I get fed up of people trying to take short cuts all the time, so I end up repeating myself.
It does me nut in!
All these crazy diets, weight loss shakes and so called ‘fat blockers’ that give you the squids.
When will people realise that these things don’t work.
If they continue to slam dunk the junk it’ll balls up their metabolism.
Lot of peeps just cut calories and think that’ll do the job.
They don’t do anything about the quality of their diet.
Sure, you can slash the calories and lose weight.
But if you’re in it for the long haul you’ve gotta sort out your quality control.
Otherwise the engine room will pack in and you’ll be wondering why on earth you’re putting on weight and falling apart.
You see, It’s not JUST about the calories.
How could it be?
500 calories of green veg has a very different impact on your body than does 500 calories of sweets.
The problem is the E-numbers, preservatives, chemicals and random words you can’t pronounce.
Even if you don’t go overboard on the calories you can still GAIN weight.
Crazy stuff, but it’s true.
New evidence proves that you can actually gain weight WITHOUT excessive calorie munching.
It’s the build up of toxins through a shoddy diet (and lifestyle) that then causes your body to store fat without the overload of calories.
Our body can’t flush out the toxins quick enough, so instead it stores them in the fat cells.
To add insult to injury, these toxins can then damage the fat cells making it doubly difficult to use them for energy.
This plays havoc with our hormonal balance and can even affect your thyroid.
Let me tell you, you don’t want your thyroid going on the blink.
