2 large, ripe papayas
Juice of 1 lime
2 pieces of preserved stem ginger, finely sliced

Cut the papaya in half lengthways and remove the seeds, then slice thinly and arrange slices on a plate.
Squeeze the lime juice over the papaya and scatter the ginger over the top.  Serve.
