If I could go back in time 10 years, one of the things I’d tell myself is to moisturize.
Yep, I said “moisturize”.
You see, the younger Gavin didn’t care so much for slapping a bit of cream on the face.
I was young and care free. However…
The older Gavin is now worried that his forehead is starting to look like the double of Gordon Ramsey’s forehead and we can’t have that. So…
I’ve been slapping on a bit of anti-wrinkle cream and experimenting with some anti-aging smoothies too.
Here’s one of my smoothies below…
Preparation time: 5 minutes
– 1 ½ cups coconut water
– 2 cups kale or spinach, torn into pieces
– 1 cup blueberries
– 1 tablespoon flax seeds
– 1 blood orange, peeled
– 2 Brazil nuts
– 3 ice cubes
– 1 scoop of collagen protein (optional)
1. Place all ingredients into a food blender.
2. Blend on high until smooth.
3. Serve into a chilled glass.
It’s quite a tasty beverage and all of those ingredients are designed to help erase your wrinkles.
Did you notice I included collagen protein?
To be honest, you can throw a bit of collagen protein into pretty much anything, but it particularly works well in smoothies…and a morning coffee ;-)
Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body. Unfortunately, as we get older our body produces less of it, which can lead to joint issues, wrinkles and even cellulite . So…
It’s a good idea to eat collagen boosting foods, such as the one’s in our smoothie and perhaps top up with a good quality collagen protein supplement too.
When it comes to collagen protein supplements, not all are created equal, so here are my top 3 brands:
Okay, that’s all I’ve got for today!
