Hi Gavin, I am in menopause I get dizzy doing exercises. What can I do I enjoy exercising.

I have a bit of cellulite on my front thighs especially and on my butt and back of thighs more that ever since I am in menopause.

      Can you help me.

        Hey Patricia!

Do you get dizzy doing all exercise? Or is it a case of moving from one to the other or getting up and down from the floor.

In terms of cellulite, it’s a complex subject that is linked to hormones and the impact they have on your body’s ability to produce and regenerate collagen for skin elasticity. As we age collagen declines due to hormone decline, in particular human growth hormone. The way to increase collagen and help out your skin, is to try and boost human growth hormone. So, make sure you’re getting enough sleep, steer clear of junk food, exercise and throw in the bouts of intermittent fasting throughout the month.

Collagen peptides as a dietary supplement can also help, but you need to be patient here and give them 3-6 months to work their magic.

Exercise wise, your best bet is lower body toning exercises (going at your own pace, so that you don’t bet dizzy) and progressing the difficulty over the weeks and months. Lunges for the front of your thighs might be the best bet (while holding on to a chair or table for balance) and then glute bridges for your butt. There are tons of exercises to be honest, but progression is the key so once you have mastered the bodyweight version of each, progress to using resistance bands, dumbbells and even kettlebells further down the line.

Hello Gavin, My question doesn’t have anything to do with flutes. My question is about arms. I do the 4 minute arm toners & I like it. I would like to know how I can lose fat from my arms because I feel I need to do that before I tone them.

        Hi Brenda!

Did you see the article I posted a few days ago?

If you feel it’s more a fat issue, then it’s a case of having to lower your overall body fat, as well as using the toning exercises.

Unfortunately, you can’t just target arm fat. However, it is possible to force your body to lean towards either upper body fat burning or lower body fat burning by doing resistance exercises first (think toning) and then follow with cardio.
